I really thought this one was going to be a homer, but unfortunately, the characters just lacked the chemistry necessary to be a 5-star read. The combination of sports, media, and books should have been an automatic win, but I wasn’t even sure he liked her near the end and hit arc just wasn’t as redeeming as I had hoped. Fun and cute, though.
