While this wasn’t as good as the first, I still REALLY liked it! Reed and Steinbeck are just such an iconic duo! To be honest, the most intriguing parts for me were still the mentions of Evangeline’s childhood, but the primary plot was intriguing in itself. I suspect this will be my least favorite from the series as most middle books are.
