With a quick pace and many funny moments, Jess Walter handles difficult, timely topics with care. I was ready for a full-blown, dragged out fight against a right-wing cult and instead I got a story about someone’s funny and relatable grandpa. A little wacky and mostly lovable, Kinnick made the lacking plot worthwhile.
