A complete waste of time. The characters weren’t likable or relatable, the “plot” was nonexistent, and it’s laughable to compare this to The Great Gatsby. I was 70% off the way in still waiting for something, anything exciting or even relevant to happen. Even tragedy in the last 10% of the book wasn’t enough to redeem it.
