Beautifully written and gut-wrenching, A Child of My Own was an emotional ride. I didn’t get much enjoyment out of it and am unsure what the target reader for something so intimate and emotional is, but if you’re looking to explore the feelings of women facing infertility, death, and the complicated nature of donor parents, this is the book for you.
