This book is so culturally rich and I absolutely loved the authentic narration! At times, it felt a bit long-winded, but there was so much unknown history included that I’ll be researching for weeks about the things I learned. Between lovely characters struggling with identity and belonging and the beautiful imagery, I’m sure I’ll be thinking about this one for many years to come!
